Privacy Policy

Everything stays on your phone. TicketLess doesn't have user accounts, doesn't run ads or analytics, and doesn't sell your data to anyone. Almost everything you see in the app — car parks, vehicles, parking history, your name and address, appeal letters, evidence photos — is stored only in the app's local storage on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes it all.
What we use device permissions for
- Location (including "Always"): to detect when you've arrived at a registered car park, including while the app is closed, so we can remind you to pay.
- Camera / Photos: only if you choose to attach evidence photos to an appeal.
- Notifications: to alert you about arrivals and parking reminders.
Sensitive information
If you use the Blue Badge appeal category, any badge details you enter are stored locally like everything else and are never transmitted anywhere — this is your choice to include, for your own letter.
Third parties we hand off to, but don't control
- Apple/Google's map services, to convert an address you search into a location.
- OpenStreetMap's Overpass service, to find real nearby parking when you use "Find parking" — your approximate location at that moment is sent to look up results, nothing else.
- The parking operator's own app or website (RingGo, PayByPhone, APCOA Connect, etc.) when you tap to pay — you're on their platform at that point, under their own privacy policy.
- Apple (or Google) and RevenueCat, our purchase-management provider, if you buy an appeal letter or Premium — they process the payment and confirm your purchase back to the app. This involves an anonymous purchase/device identifier, not your name or card details, which Apple/Google handle directly and never share with us.
- The developer directly, if you use Print & Post — your letter, name, and postal address (and your email too, if you tick "email me a copy") are sent so it can be printed and posted on your behalf. This is the one feature where personal data leaves your device to a real person rather than a service, used only to fulfil that specific request.
Your control
Delete any car park, vehicle, or appeal at any time from within the app. Uninstalling removes everything.
